To implement the ISLE approach
To start, you need to get a copy of the textbook College Physics: Explore and Apply by Eugenia Etkina, Gorazd Planinsic, Joshua Rutberg, and Alan Van Heuvelen published by Pearson. The third edition is now available.
You also need access to the Pearson Mastering Physics platform to get access to the Active Learning Guide, Online Active Learning Guide, Instructor Guide, and other supporting resources.
Join the community of ISLE users
To participate in the community of ISLE users, get access to the latest improvements, ask questions, and learn from other teachers, join the Facebook group Exploring and Applying Physics.
The community includes teachers using ISLE in different settings and provides opportunities for discussion, support, and sharing of ideas.
