Textbook
College Physics: Explore and Apply by Eugenia Etkina, Gorazd Planinsic, Joshua Rutberg, and Alan Van Heuvelen is an ISLE-based physics textbook published by Pearson. The third edition is now available.
The book guides students and instructors through the ISLE process step-by-step. It includes videos of experiments, real-life applications, an explicit multiple-representation-based problem-solving strategy implemented in examples, and non-traditional problems designed to support conceptual understanding and application.

Active Learning Guide and Online Active Learning Guide
The Physics Active Learning Guide (ALG) and the Online Active Learning Guide (OALG) support the ISLE approach with activities and problems that can be used in lectures, recitations, laboratories, and homework.
These materials are designed to support concept construction, testing, and application. The OALG was developed to support online instruction.
Instructor Guide
The Instructor Guide lists general and content-specific learning objectives for each chapter, describes common student difficulties, identifies non-traditional problems, explains the logic of the material flow, and provides guidance on representations, language, activity sequence, and implementation.
The Instructor Guide also helps instructors decide where activities should be used and how to support students through common difficulties.
Videos and online resources
The textbook and the Active Learning Guide include many videos that support observational experiments, testing experiments, applications, and problem solving.
